Create Hexagonal Bolt

If  you went to draw a hexagonal bolt you must know given Information and formula:

Information 


1. Diameter of Bolt : say 25mm
2. Length of Bolt : say 75mm
3. Length of Thread : say 50mm
4. Standard of Thread : say BSW

Formula :


1. If the diameter is1 Inch. or 25.4 mm then the thread  will be 8 numbers in one Inch or 25.4mm length (BSW Thread)

So,

1. Pitch                  = 1/8"          =3.17mm
2. Flat to flat         = 1.5D         = 1.5X25.4 =38.1mm
3. Height of Head = 2/3D         =0.6666X25.4=16.93mm.
4. Tangent of Arc =30 dig.
5. Chamfer           =2X45 dig.
